Brilliant green color; these are usually found with quite faded, almost grey color. 5 ITEM #4872: PARKER SPECIAL EDITION DUOFOLD INTERNATIONAL ROLLERBALL. 0 SET ITEM #3963: CUSTOM PARKER CENTENNIAL FRONT END IN MANDARIN YELLOW ACRYLIC PEN. It is a flat, in a "sharpened" profile taper that is fitted onto a Vest Pocket Duofold pencil and was used for opening mail. ITEM #3834: PARKER THIRD GENERATION STRIPED BLUE DIAMOND VACUMATIC DUOFOLD.
Not this one; the color is striking bright green and if I didn't already own its equivalent in my own collection I would not be selling this one. Pearl marble with black veins and gold plated trim. This remarkable pen, with cap and barrel manufactured by Bexley in new acrylic materials, uses a new barrel & cap, a new old stock Parker Centennial section, feed, and nib from Parker surplus, and an original 20'S era Parker Duofold clip. This item comes with the cap for the Vest Pocket pencil. HAS A NON-CHARACHTERISTIC NIB FOR A PARKER DUOFOLD IN THAT ITS WIDE, AT LEAST A MEDIUM, AND IT'S ALSO SOMEWHAT FLEXIBLE. Very unusual in that the cap profile is not curved like others in my collection; its straight, almost cone shaped.
Nevertheless the public fell in love with the pen and were willing to pay this extravagant sum to own one.
Big Red Senior from 1928–9 I own several Duofold Seniors.
