Simon Cowell joked that he had replaced Amanda Holden on the panel for Britain’s Got Talent as auditions got underway.
They joined Alesha Dixon and David Walliams in Blackpool as Simon invited an elderly lady from the audience up on stage, Express reports.
He is currently appearing on the eleventh Series of Britain's Got Talent and, recently, the thirteenth series of UK's The X Factor along with the eleventh series of America's Got Talent.
In 20, Time named Cowell one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
ITV must be primed for complaints this evening after Britain’s Got Talent judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell decided to wear outfits slashed to the navel.
The trio follow in the footsteps of Rita Ora whose January appearance on BBC’s The One Show wearing a similarly plunging garment elicited more than 400 complaints to the broadcaster and 28 to media watchdog Ofcom.
As a judge, Cowell often makes blunt and controversial comments, including insults and wisecracks about contestants and their singing abilities.
Amanda made the confession that she once spent an evening with Simon "a very long time ago" when they were both single.
However it wasn't the start of a blossoming relationship with Amanda bailing at PM.
“Simon always tells people that he hired me because he fancied me, but that’s absolutely nonsense – he doesn’t go for blondes.
It’s more a surprise to me than anyone else that after 10 years I’m still here.
