When account upgrades begin at the end of June, you will no longer be able to receive email sent to your Outlook.com account in Windows Live Mail 2012Users are however still able to access their emails on the website.
All data remains accessible on the Internet and already downloaded data in the client.
Only a few days ago, Microsoft announced that an update for Windows Live Mail 2012 was required to continue using the client with Outlook and Hotmail.
However, over the last few days, we received quite a few complaints from our users that this update, instead of only fixing the synchronization, can cause crashes as well as issues importing email into other mail clients.
Thanks for any help, I use WLM 2012 calendar with a hotmail account (now on Outlook.com) and it still works ok.
Gmail is one of them where it can sync everything rather easily.
Your best bet would be switching them over to a Google account and calling it a day since that can handle everything they need (and it's free).
This happened once before and I was told to do something in Internet Explore which did work but I can't remember what it was.
